Training Overview

This class prepares Certified Transitional Pastors to help the church make the structural and leadership changes it needs in order to become a flourishing church that makes disciples of Jesus Christ. 

Duration: 2 hours virtually 

IMPORTANT: There is an additional materials fee of $150, which can be purchased here www.churchhealthinitiative.com. You will need to purchase all three courses for use of them in your ministry. This course assumes that you will watch each of these three courses prior to attending the 2 hour virtual course Dr. Paul Borden, who will answer questions based off of the materials and how to use these materials in a transitional setting.

BIO: Dr. Paul Borden specializes in ministry and education leadership. After spending decades helping congregations experience  systemic transformation, he is convinced that one of the best times to lead transformation is when the congregation  is between pastors. Transitional leadership is crucial in helping congregations not lose ground while in transition, but rather grow and have momentum for when the next pastor arrives. This workshop will help transitional leaders assess where the  congregation is when they arrive, develop strategies to lead change during the transition & help the next pastor not to have to  fight key battles upon their arrival, which often undercuts the new pastor’s ability to influence change.
